CONSERVATION NEEDLEWORK FRAMING

Needlework Framing is an ideal means of completing your needlework projects. All framing is fully reversible because no adhesive tapes or glues are used in the stretching process. Your needlework will be stretched onto an acid free foam core backing board and then traditionally laced with thread. The work is separated from the glass with acid free coloured mountboards or spacers, and also separated from the wooden frame with acid free foam core packing strips. The needlework is then sealed into the frame with an acid free backing board. This method of conservation framing ensures that your work will be preserved for many years to come.
